![]() ![]() I don’t recommend anyone else do this, I just have a weird quirk where practice tests just aren’t helpful for me. GRE Mentor and the Magoosh vocab flashcards were my main preparation tools for verbal, but my discipline is very reading intensive, so that probably also helps. I used GregMat’s 1 month program for attempt 2 and did a brief refresher of the math stuff for attempt 3. Obviously, I don’t have my essay score back, but I’m not terribly concerned about it.Īs for prep stuff, I’ll be the first to admit I haven’t been the most diligent and to say PLEASE don’t be like me. I truly feel like the quant section I had today was so much easier for me specifically, and my score reflected it: 168V/162Q. Didn’t do anything for my verbal stuff, partially because I got slammed with midterms. I just did some refresher on basic geometry tips that I tend to forget. Today was attempt 3 and I felt good going in! I didn’t do much studying between attempt 2 and 3. I felt like I was losing my mind a bit lol Genuinely have no idea what happened in the quant section. Attempt 2 was about a month ago and I got a 162V/153Q/5 AWA. Some things in life happened that made me decide to apply to graduate school this year, so I took the GRE twice this fall. Probably should have studied more in hindsight, but I figured it wasn’t bad all things considered. I took the GRE for the first time last year and got a 159V/157Q/4 AWA.
